Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration device for land transportation, wherein the reduction of fuel consumption can be maintained during an operation in a multi-evaporator type automatic start/stop driving mode. The refrigeration device for land transportation is comprised of a compressor (5) driven by an engine (7); a plurality of evaporator units which are respectively provided in luggage compartments (3A, 3B, 3C), and are connected in parallel to a refrigerant circuit (17) through which a refrigerant circulates; and a control portion (15) having an automatic start/stop operation mode (27) in which the operation of the compressor (5) or the evaporator units is stopped when the temperature reaches a preset temperature, and the operation of the compressor (5) or the evaporator units is restarted when the temperature reaches a operation returning temperature which is a predetermined temperature higher or lower than the preset temperature. The automatic start/stop operation mode (27) is provided with a thermo-off condition maintaining operation in which the temperature of each luggage compartment (3A, 3B, 3C), which has reached the preset temperature, is prevented from reaching the operation returning temperature until the temperatures of all the luggage compartments reach the preset temperature.
