Abstract:

A refrigeration device has a foreign substance recovery container (40) connected to the suction side of a compressor (21) by an inflow tube (42) and an outflow tube (43). The exit end of the inflow tube (42) is opened toward the inner bottom of the recovery container (40), and the entrance end of the outflow tube (43) is positioned in the recovery container (40), above the exit end of the inflow tube (42). A pre-operation for circulating a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit (10) for predetermined time is performed to cause the refrigerant in a gas-liquid biphasic state to flow into the recovery container (40). After that, foreign objects are recovered in the recovery container (40) by recovery operation for circulating the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit (10) to cause a gas refrigerant to flow into the recovery container (40).
