Abstract:
A refrigeration and freezing device and a storage container (100) thereof, the storage container (100) comprising an electrolytic deoxygenization assembly (200) used for consuming oxygen in the air in a storage space (100), thereby obtaining a nitrogen-rich oxygen-poor gas atmosphere in the space so as to facilitate food preservation; by means of reducing the oxygen content in the storage space, the intensity of the aerobic respiration of food is reduced while basic respiratory functions are ensured, which prevents the food from undergoing anaerobic respiration, thereby achieving the goal of the long-term preservation of the food. Moreover, the electrolytic deoxygenization assembly (200) is placed at the back part of a drawer and is close to an air return opening of an air duct (32). At the described position, airflow returns again to the air duct of a refrigerator, which is comparatively more humid than other positions in the refrigerator, thus helping to accelerate the reaction of the electrolytic deoxygenization assembly (200). After water vapor near the electrolytic device is consumed, the air circulation of the air-cooled refrigerator is faster, and water vapor at other positions may quickly be replenished, thus maintaining a quick reaction speed.
