Abstract:
A breaker assembly (10) connects the interior liner (16) and the exterior cabinet (14) in a refrigerator and maintains a space between them. The breaker assembly includes a bottom breaker strip (20). The bottom breaker strip has a forward leg (30), a side leg (32) and a clip portion (34). The side leg extends from the forward leg and is oriented substantially perpendicular to the forward leg. The forward leg carries the clip portion. A sheet of cardboard (44) defines an adjacent side surface of the exterior cabinet.
