Abstract:
A refrigerator (100) and a control method therefor. The refrigerator (100) has a compressor (201) for refrigeration circulation, and the compressor (201) is provided in an accommodating portion (101) at the top of a box body (10) of the refrigerator (100). The control method for the refrigerator (100) comprises: acquiring a door body opening-closing signal of the refrigerator (100); controlling the compressor (201) to maintain a shut-down state within a predetermined time after the door of the refrigerator (100) is open; and performing delay control on the compressor (201) to return to a normal operating mode after the door of the refrigerator (100) is closed. The control method involves a refrigerator (100) in which the compressor (201) is placed in the top accommodating portion (101) of the box body (10), and after the door body is opened or closed, by shutting down the compressor (201), operating noise of the compressor (201) is eliminated, preventing a user of the refrigerator (100) from being affected by noise, and improving the degree of comfort during use for a user.
