Abstract:
A refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: a first tray constituting a part of an icing cell; a second tray constituting another part of the icing cell and being movable relatively to the first tray; a driving unit for moving the second tray; a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of water or ice inside the icing cell; and a control unit for controlling the driving unit, wherein the control unit can operate the driving unit for moving the second tray if water inside the icing cell is determined to be in a supercooling state on the basis of the temperature measured by the temperature sensor.
