Abstract:
Provided are a refrigerator and a control method therefor, which sense hyper-condensation in a condenser on the basis of the temperature differences between evaporators provided in each storage chamber, and control the driving time of a radiating fan for cooling the condenser. A refrigerator according to one embodiment comprises: a plurality of storage chambers; a plurality of evaporators which are aligned in series and which corresponds to each of the plurality of storage chambers; a compressor for compressing a refrigerant evaporated by means of the plurality of evaporators; a condenser for condensing the compressed refrigerant; a radiating fan for cooling the condenser; a plurality of evaporator temperature sensors for sensing the temperature of each of the plurality of evaporators; and a control unit for determining whether hyper-condensation occurs in the condenser on the basis of the temperature differences between the plurality of evaporators, and controlling the driving time of the radiating fan on the basis of whether hyper-condensation occurs.
