A refrigerator (1) and a refrigerator detection method. The refrigerator (1) comprises a refrigerator body (2), a door body (3), and a detection means (4). The detection means (4) comprises: an angle identification card (42), fixed to any one of the refrigerator body (2) and the door body (3), the angle identification card (42) being provided with a plurality of angle codes orderly arranged; an image acquisition sensor (41), fixed to any one of the refrigerator body (2) and the door body (3); and a processing unit (43), communicatively connected to the image acquisition sensor (41). The image acquisition sensor (41) acquires real-time images of the angle identification card (42) in an opening and closing process of the door body (3), and transfers to the processing unit (43), and the processing unit (43) obtains a door opening angle of the door body (3) by means of analysis according to the received real-time images. The structure enables the refrigerator (1) to be able to more accurately obtain an actual door opening angle and closing angle, and the opening/closing condition and stop position of the door body (3) can be obtained in real time.
