Abstract:
Disclosed are a refrigerator and a method for controlling the refrigerator. The refrigerator comprises a first refrigerating compartment and a second refrigerating compartment, the second refrigerating compartment being able to be switched between a freezing mode and a refrigerating mode, and after starting conversion of the freezing mode to the refrigerating mode, a controller, according to the temperature of the second refrigerating compartment, controlling a compressor to start or stop, and at the same time a fan continuing to operate.
