Abstract:
Provided are: a refrigerator equipped with a door, in which the bonded structure of a transparent panel and a door frame is optimized; and a method for manufacturing the same. The door has a door frame (42) of frame shape, a transparent panel (40) bonded to the door frame from the front surface, an inside panel joined to the door frame from the rear surface, and a foamed heat-insulating material filling a space surrounded by the door frame (42), the transparent panel (40), and the inside panel. Furthermore, the door frame (42) has side surface portions constituting side surfaces of the door, and bonded surface portions (50) to which the transparent panel (40) is bonded. The transparent panel (40) is bonded to the bonded surface portions (50) of the door frame (42) with an adhesive (58) interposed therebetween. A grooved portion (52) is formed by indenting the bonded surface portions (50) of the door frame (42) near the outer-peripheral edge.
