Abstract:
A control unit 100 for a refrigerator that has a storage compartment to store food and a communication unit to communicate with a terminal device used by a manager comprises: a state detection unit 101 that detects first information pertaining to at least one of user operation of the refrigerator, air temperature inside the storage compartment, and food status inside the storage compartment; a state acquisition unit 102 that acquires, from the first information, second information indicating the usage status of the refrigerator during a certain time period; and a lifestyle management unit 103 that notifies the terminal device of the lifestyle status when determination is made, from the second information, that a manager should be notified of the lifestyle status of the refrigerator user.
