A purification device, comprising: a box body and a filter element provided therein. The box body comprises: a base provided with an air outlet surface, the air outlet surface being provided with air outlets; and a housing mutually engaged with the base to enclose an inner space of the box boxy with the base. The housing is provided with an air inlet block plate opposite to the air outlet surface, and an air inlet portion surrounding the outer periphery of the air inlet block plate. The air inlet portion is provided with air inlets. The air inlet portion and the air outlet surface are arranged in a staggered manner, which reduces the smooth degree of airflow flowing in the purification device, so that airflow entering the box body from the air inlet portion is bent to flow to the air outlet surface, the airflow velocity in the purification device is reduced, the airflow flowing path is prolonged, and thus the duration of the airflow flowing through the filter element is prolonged, and conditions are provided for the filter element to fully filter foreign matters in the airflow, thereby improving the air purification effect of the purification device. Also provided is a related refrigerator.
