Abstract:
A refrigerator, comprising a refrigerating circuit (10) formed by connecting a compressor (11), a four-way valve (12), an outdoor heat exchanger (13), an expansion valve (14), and an indoor heat exchanger (15) in that order through gas side pipes (31) and liquid side pipes (32), wherein R32 refrigerant or R32/R125-mixed refrigerant containing 75 wt% or more of R32 is filled into the refrigerant circuit (10), a resin material is used for the insulation material of a motor in the compressor (11) and a synthetic oil is used for refrigerator oil and, when a rated cooling capacity is 5 kW or less, the liquid side pipe (32) is formed of a pipe having an inside diameter of less than 4.75 mm.
