Abstract:
Provided is a refrigerator having a refrigerant circulation path in which a refrigerant discharged from a compressor (1) is drawn in to the compressor (1) through a condenser, an expansion mechanism (3), and an evaporator. The refrigerant circulation path: encloses the refrigerant, which is obtained by mixing a refrigerant that uses a hydrofluorocarbon having a double bond between a carbon and a carbon as the base component with a hydrofluorocarbon that does not have a double bond; and is provided with a fibrous filter (10) that traps refrigerant reactants inside the refrigerant circulation path. By efficiently trapping oligomers produced by polymerization of the hydrofluorocarbons, which are the refrigerant, the refrigerator is able to minimize the deterioration of the components used in the refrigerant circulation path, and operate stably over a long period.
