Abstract:
A refrigerator is disclosed. The refrigerator includes a cabinet, a freezing compartment defined in the cabinet, a door coupled to the cabinet so as to open and close the freezing compartment, and a pressure regulator mounted on the cabinet so as to allow an inside of the freezing compartment to communicate with an outside of the freezing compartment to reduce the difference in pressure when the door is opened, wherein the pressure regulator includes a connecting tube mounted at the position on the cabinet, an air introduction tube connected to the connecting tube outside of the cabinet, an opening device mounted in the air introduction tube so as to open and close an inlet of the air introduction tube, and a heater disposed around the connecting tube so as to heat the connecting tube to thus eliminate frost accumulated on the inner surface of the connecting tube.
