Abstract:
Provided is a refrigerator that can reduce noise due to liquid refrigerant suddenly boiling. The present invention is a refrigerator (1) in which a compressor (21), a condenser (22), an expander (23), an evaporator (24), and an accumulator (30) are connected in order via refrigerant piping (25) and that operates a refrigeration cycle (20) in which refrigerant is circulated via driving the compressor, wherein the refrigerant piping (25) between the accumulator and the compressor is provided with a trap section (40) formed by bending the refrigerant piping (25) into a downward convex shape so that the trap section is blocked by way of accumulation of liquid refrigerant R while the compressor is stopped.
