Abstract:
A refrigerator (1) comprising a refrigerant circulation cooling system, a storage compartment (200), and an ice making apparatus (100) arranged in the storage compartment (200), the ice making apparatus (100) comprising an ice making box (10) and a semiconductor cooling plate (43) having a first temperature changing surface and a second temperature changing surface, the semiconductor cooling plate (43) being configured to controllably provide cold to the ice making box (10) by means of the first temperature changing surface during an ice making process in order to make ice cubes, and the refrigerant circulation cooling system being configured to controllably provide cold to the second temperature changing surface and to dissipate heat therefor during the ice making process. During the ice making process, a cold end of the semiconductor cooling plate (43) is used to provide cold to the ice making box (10) for making ice, and the refrigerant circulation cooling system is simultaneously used to dissipate the heat of the hot end of the semiconductor cooling plate (43), such that the cold end of the semiconductor cooling plate (43) can reach a lower temperature and thereby implement rapid ice making.
