Abstract:
This refrigerator has: an open-close detection unit that detects the opening and closing of a door covering an opening in a storage compartment; an imaging unit that has a lens for capturing an image of the inside of the storage compartment; a transceiving unit that transmits image data captured by the imaging unit to an external information processing terminal in accordance with instructions from the information processing terminal; a heater that supplies heat to the lens; and a controlling unit that controls the amount of current to the heater on the basis of the opening and closing of the door detected by the open-close detection unit.
