Abstract:
A refrigerator comprises: a refrigerator body in which an interior space enclosed by an inner box and an outer box is filled with an insulating material, that is provided with a plurality of storage chambers in the inner box, and that has an opening on the front face; an air duct that is provided between the inner box and the outer box and that sends cold air to each of the storage chambers; a plate-shaped air duct cover that is inside the refrigerator body and that covers the air duct by being provided on the back face side of the storage chamber; light guidance plates that are disposed facing the flat faces of both ends of the air duct cover; and an illumination device that is provided on one end of the light guidance plate in the width direction of the refrigerator body and that emits light from the one end of the light guidance plate to the other end. The light guidance plate is provided with, on a plane opposite to the air duct cover, a plurality of cuboid wall bodies that extend in the height direction of the refrigerator body and that project toward the air duct cover from one end of the light guidance plate to the other end in the width direction of the refrigerator body with gaps therebetween.
