Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator that informs a user when a door is in an unclosed state while preventing an unnecessary alarm sound. When at least a predetermined amount of time has elapsed since an open state of a door 5, which opens and closes an opening section of a compartment, was detected such that the temperature inside the compartment is equal to or higher than a set temperature and there is no change in the weight inside the compartment, the refrigerator determines that the door 5 is in an unclosed state, and informs the user of the unclosed state of the door 5. Also, when a plurality of compartments are provided, it is desirable for the set temperatures of the respective compartments to be set to different temperatures.
