Abstract:
A refrigerator (10) having a defrosting apparatus (200). The defrosting apparatus (200) comprises: a container (210), having a defrosting chamber (214) with a front opening; an apparatus door (220); a radio frequency generator module (230), electrically connected to upper and lower electrode plates (240a, 240b) for generating radio frequency waves in the defrosting chamber (214); and at least one temperature sensor (219) on an inner wall of the defrosting chamber (214) for sensing the temperature of an object to be processed, wherein the power of the radio frequency generator module (230) is adjusted according thereto to prevent the object to be processed from over defrosting.
