Abstract:
A refrigerator according to the present invention has a refrigeration cycle that has at least a compressor (19), an evaporator (20), a main condenser (21), and an anti-condensation pipe (41). The refrigeration cycle has: a flow-path switching valve (40) that is connected at a downstream side of the main condenser (21); the anti-condensation pipe (41), which is connected at a downstream side of the flow-path switching valve (40); and a bypass (43) that is connected at the downstream side of the flow-path switching valve (40) in parallel with the anti-condensation pipe (41). After a refrigerant remaining inside the evaporator (20) and the anti-condensation pipe (41) is recovered by fully closing the flow-path switching valve (40) during the operation of the compressor (19), the compressor (19) is stopped, and the flow-path switching valve (40) is opened to a bypass side to supply the recovered remaining refrigerant to the evaporator (20), thus performing defrosting, and a defrost heater is turned on when a predetermined time elapses thereafter.
