Abstract:
A refrigerator comprising: a storage chamber that has an opening surface and at least either freezes or refrigerates foodstuff therein; a storage shelf provided inside the storage chamber, that houses foodstuff; a storage chamber door provided on the opening surface so as to freely open and close; a door pocket provided on a surface on the storage chamber side of the storage chamber door and housing foodstuff; and an illumination device provided inside the storage chamber and irradiating light inside the storage chamber. The illumination device is arranged outside the movement range of the door pocket when the storage chamber door is opened or closed.
