Abstract:

A refrigerator comprises: a body which has a storage space; a door which opens/closes the storage space; and a switch unit which is disposed in the body and senses whether the door is opened or closed. The switch unit comprises: a housing in which a first terminal and a second terminal operated to be brought into contact with or spaced apart from each other are provided and which includes a button insertion portion extending inward from one wall facing the door; a button which protrudes out of or is inserted into the housing through the button insertion portion of the housing by opening/closing of the door to bring or space the first and second terminals into contact with or apart from each other; and a gap blocking member which blocks the gap between the button and the inner surface of the button insertion portion of the housing.
