Abstract:
A refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cabinet having a storage space formed therein; a grill fan assembly provided in the storage space and shielding the front side of an evaporator; a mechanical room which configures a space independent from the storage space and in which a compressor and a condenser are provided; and an air intake member allowing the mechanical room to communicate with a heat exchange space in which the evaporator is disposed, wherein the grill fan assembly comprises: a case having an open front surface; an indoor fan provided on the case and forcing air to flow between the storage space and the heat exchange space; a grill fan shielding the open front surface of the case and having a discharge port and a suction port formed therethrough, wherein cold air is discharged to the storage space through the discharge port and air is suctioned from the storage space through the suction port; a partition for comparting the inside of the case into a cooling air flow space and a heating air flow space; an exhaust member which extends from the case toward the inside of the mechanical room and through which the inside of the case and the inside of the mechanical room communicate with each other; and a mechanical room exhaust damper provided on the case and opening or closing the exhaust member.
