Abstract:
This refrigerator has a main body that has a storing chamber, a storing shelf that partitions the storing chamber in the height direction, and a pair of storage shelf support devices at least a portion of which is embedded in a wall recess part that is provided in a side wall of the storing chamber in the width direction, and which supports the storage shelf. The storage shelf support devices each comprise: a rail part that has a storage shelf support part that supports the storage shelf; a movement mechanism that causes the rail part to move in the height direction; a rail holder that is attached to a side wall of the storing chamber in the width direction and holds the rail part in a vertically movable manner; and a rail part holding member that is assembled with the rail holder, serves as a housing for housing the movement mechanism, and is embedded in the wall recess part of the storing chamber.
