Abstract:
The invention provides a regenerated cellulose fiber and a method preparing the same and an article manufactured from the same. The method comprises the steps of: first, dissolving a corncob fiber pulp and a chelating agent with a NMMO solution to obtain a spinning dope; then, preparing a regenerated cellulose fiber using the spinning dope obtained in the above step. In accordance with the invention, a solvent-based method is used to prepare a regenerated cellulose fiber, with corncob fibers as raw material of Lyocell fibers, which makes full use of corn cob which is an agricultural waste, and effectively solves the limitation from shortage of raw materials of Lyocell fibers. In addition, the corncob fiber pulp has short fiber length (between 0 and 0.3 mm in length) and uniform polymerization degree (between 500 and 600), and can be quickly and uniformly dispersed in a solvent system. Furthermore, a large number of holes are distributed on a surface of the pulp, which has greater capillarity and can quickly absorb the solvent, so that both the surface and the interior of the pulp participate in the reaction, greatly reducing the reaction time and improving the reaction uniformity.
