Abstract:
A control system (33) is provided with: an electric motor (18); an electricity-storage device (20) and a throttle grip (5a); a brake lever (24); a control device (16); and an adjustment lever (27). The control device (16) supplies power to the electric motor (18) from the electricity-storage device (20) in accordance with an acceleration command inputted via the throttle grip (5a), driving a rear wheel (3) using the electric motor (18), and in accordance with an acceleration/deceleration adjustment command from the adjustment lever (27), adjusts an amount of power generated from the rotation of the rear wheel (3). This acceleration/deceleration adjustment lever (27) is provided separately from the brake lever (24) and the throttle grip (5a). The brake lever (24) operates a brake mechanism that reduces the speed of the rear wheel (3) by applying a mechanical braking force thereto.
