Abstract:
Provided is a regeneration control system for vehicles, wherein kinetic energy of a vehicle is converted into electric energy when an internal-combustion engine mounted vehicle is decelerating, and wherein changes in braking power due to changes in the amount of friction within the internal-combustion engine can be alleviated. In order to accomplish this, changes in the amount of friction within the internal-combustion engine upon deceleration of the vehicle was made to be canceled by adjusting the regeneration braking force, which in turn was carried out by adjusting the amount of exciting current to be supplied to the generator in accordance with the amount of friction within the internal-combustion engine.
