Abstract:
A regeneration method for a filtering and adsorbing material used in water treatment, which includes the steps: A) feeding the saturated filtering and adsorbing material, the water ratio of which is < 30%, to a furnace and heat it to 120~400ºC at a rate of4~6ºC/minute; B) continuously heating the material to 450~650ºC at a rate of 6~8ºC/minute, dry distillate and carbonize the organism in the material; C) then heating the material to 700ºC at 8~10ºC/minute, and activating it by steam and flue gas, wherein saidtemperature isn't more than 850ºC, the (saturated) steam consumption is 0.5~1ton/ton of filtering and adsorbing material, the steam to flue gas ratio is 5:1, and the activation time is 20~60 minutes. The iodine sorption value of the regenerated material by said process can recover to its initial level before using, and the treatment effects to industrial waste and urban sewage also recover to its initial level.
