Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to ensure a smooth slowdown with no lurching until at a stop in an electrically driven vehicle capable of varying a regeneration amount in accordance with a driver's intent. The invention is provided with an electric motor (4) connected to a driving wheel, an electric motor controller (1) for controlling motoring and regenerating of an electric motor (4), and a steering switch (11) for setting a regeneration amount in accordance with the driver's operations. In this electrically driven vehicle system wherein a regeneration amount is changeable according to a driver's intent, the electric motor controller (1) includes a regeneration command torque limiting means (step S5 of Fig. 2, Fig. 7, Fig. 9) for limiting a regeneration amount such that the regeneration amount decreases as the vehicle traveling speed decreases when a vehicle is coming to a stop.
