Abstract:
A regenerative burner wherein at least a pair of regenerative burner main bodies (1), which are equipped with a burner tile (2) and a heat storage chamber (3) housing heat-storing bodies (9), alternate between combustion and exhaust at prescribed intervals, the regenerative burner being characterized in that in the center of the burner tile (2) there is a central port (4) one end of which opens to the furnace interior, with a fuel supply pipe (6) which supplies fuel to the regenerative burner main body (1) being inserted from a side surface of the burner tile (2) and the tip of the fuel supply pipe being connected to the other end of the central port (4), and fuel being supplied from the other end of the central port (4).
