Abstract:
A settlement system with which it is possible to use a plurality of settlement services, wherein the reduction of cost and the improvement of convenience can be realized for a store, and the increased efficiency of work and the improvement of convenience can be realized for a user. A register device provided with: an imaging device 4 for capturing the image of a two-dimensional code; a code-reading unit 347 for reading settlement code information from the two-dimensional code imaged by the imaging device 4; an image recognition processing unit 348 for executing image recognition processing that can identify a settlement method from an image that includes the two-dimensional code imaged by the imaging device 4; a settlement method specification unit 349 for specifying a settlement method on the basis of the image recognized by the image recognition processing unit 348; a transmission unit 303 for transmitting, to a prescribed server, settlement request information that includes the settlement code information read by the code-reading unit 347, information pertaining to the settlement method specified by the settlement method specification unit 349, and information pertaining to a settlement amount; and an information output unit 345 for receiving the result of settlement processing based on the settlement request information and outputting the received result.
