Abstract:
This reinforcement cord comprises at least one strand. The strand comprises: a bundle of a plurality of filaments that are bundled together and twisted in one direction; and a coating film that is formed on at least the surface of the bundle. The bundle is substantially configured of carbon fiber filaments. The coating film is formed from an aqueous treatment agent that contains a rubber latex and a crosslinking agent as essential ingredient, while containing a filler as an optional ingredient. With respect to the aqueous treatment agent, the total of the mass of the crosslinking agent and the mass of the filler is within 1-50% of the mass of the rubber in the rubber latex.
