Abstract:
A reinforcement cover for a connector connection section of a wire harness. In
the connector connection section, electric wires whose connectors are inserted
and held in a terminal receiving chamber of a connector housing are bent and laterally
led out after being led out of the terminal receiving chamber, and an L-shaped
rubber connector boot is put over the electric wires that are laterally led out.
The reinforcement cover is a resin molding detachably fitted over the connector
boot. The reinforcement cover is fitted over the connector boot until the terminals
in the connector housing are connected to mating terminals, thereby preventing
twisting of the terminals at the ends of the electric wires. The reinforcement
cover is removed after the terminals are connected.
