Title:
REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE FOR A FOUNDATION PILE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/016701
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention is in regard to the reinforcement structure of the upper part of steel pipe used as a foundation pipe. Its former methods have problems that its execution performance becomes difficult as we are forced to pile sand or to erect a mold from or within the steel pile and then to pour perpendicularity reinforcing bar and concrete into its upper part together and to cure it, and then to erect the horizontal steel of footing foundation. Another former problem occurs when the crossed reinforcing member needs to be welded on the interior upper portion of the pipe or be fixed using connecting bolts. The reinforcing structure, welding the crossed reinforcing member on the interior upper or fixing by connecting bolts, and welding the supporting circular plate and perpendicularity reinforcing bar on the crossed reinforcing member, causes the power to declined due to the change in the temperature which occurs from the welding peocedd. The costs are also not effective because of the requisite manpower and time involved in erecting connective steel through welding. In the case of the connecting bolts, the problem is that we have to from a spiral hole through perpendicular steel as the difficulty in the construction, when we connect its member with its steel pipe by the bolts. As the reinforcing member of the steel pipe, made of tiebar, a circular ring and plate, is erected on the interior upper portion without any welding, and its concrete is cured, this invention can more safely reinforce the upper part of steel pipe driven into the ground. In addition, its provides the reinforcing structure for the upper part of steel pipes, used in foundation work, which erects perpendicularity reinforcing bar on its upper part more conveniently.

Claims:
[Claim
1. ] (D After erecting the reinforcement member in the upper portion of steel pipe, we reinforce it so as to fill footing foundation's concrete within its upper part. Its members are composed of circular rings, which consist of perpendicular steel's insertion holes and a circular opened part, and a circular plate, plus the spacer which consists of many steel pipe fixed holes. In their middle part, tiebar or lope makes circular ring and plate straight line. The center of the circular ring and plate is positioned perpendicularly and the ring's diameter is larger than that of the plate in order to be cogged on the upper portion of steel pipe pile. It keeps close with the inner lateral part to be inserted into the upper part. The perpendicular reinforcement steel pipes are inserted by its insertion holes around the circular ring and through the spacer's steel pipesfixed holes, and its end reaches to the upper portion of the circular plate. Its' lower end is fixed by the spacer and the sheer key is erected through the holes hit and opened on the upper portion. When concrete is poured between the circular ring and the plate, the steel pipe's upper portion is reinforced firmly. This invention is in regard tothe reinforcement structure of the upper part of steel pipe used as a foundation pile. It has the strong point of uniting the steel pipes with footing foundation's concrete by the perpendicular reinforcement steel pipes and sheer key.
Description:
Rdnforcement Structure for a Foundation Pile [The invention's technical field and its former techniques] This invention is on the reinforcement structure of the upper portion of a steel pipe driven into the ground in the foundation of construction or civil engineering. In effect this would prevent the upper part from being changed by a perpendicular load and the lateral pressure of the soil, because it could erect its reinforcing member of a circular cap made of many insertion holes on the upper. Also this is about the reinforcing structure of the upper part of steel pipe used in the foundation, which could be conveniently erected perpendicularity reinforcing bar in footing foundation's concrete.

In the building or bridge construction, we formerly constructed perpendicularity reinforcing bar and footing concrete on the upper portion of steel pipes, after they were driven into the ground by the hammer etc.

We usually erect the reinforcing member on the part of steel pipes to prevent them from changing with the perpendicular load on the upper part, whose lower parts are supported by underground base rock, and the lateral pressure of soil into its surrounding area.

In the past the reinforcement structure of the above-mentioned steel pipe was to drive perpendicularity reinforcing bar and concrete into its interior upper part. As shown in diagrams one and two, we used to weld supporting circular plate (300) onto the upper part again, and then weld lots of perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) on the round of top portion of supporting circular plate (300), after welding the crossed reinforcing member (200) within the upper part of steel pipe (100).

Another method is the erection of the crossed reinforcing member, which is welded supporting circular plate on the steel pipe by connecting bolts, and generally used perpendicularity reinforcing bar, which is connected by the screw on its bolt hole of the round of its top portion.

Firstly, the structure driven into the ground by concrete and perpendicularity reinforcing bar together within the upper part of steel pipe could strongly reinforce its upper part.

However it has a problem in that its execution performance becomes impaired because we have to cure it by pouring perpendicularity reinforcing bar and concrete into the upper part together, and then we have to construct the horizontal steel of the footing foundation, after erecting the mold form or piling sand within the steel pipe.

As shown in diagrams one and two, the reinforcing structure, of which we have to weld the crossed reinforcing member within the upper part of steel pipe (100) or install it by connecting bolts, and then we have to weld supporting circular plate (300) and perpendicularity reinforcing bar into it, causes the reduction of the steel pipe's power (100) by the change in temperature during the course of welding each member (200) (300) (400) into its steel pipe.

In the case of the connective bolt, we have not only the difficulty of construction, but also making a spiral hole in perpendicular steel respectively, when we connect the member and the steel pipe with the bolts The perpendicular reinforcing bar for the footing foundation's concrete on the upper part of many steel pipes into the ground has been erected on the length and breadth way. In the above mentioned, the former reinforcing structure of the upper part of steel pipe, when we first tried to erect perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400), a problem occurred which led to difficulties because the perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) prevented us from erecting its bottom steel on the around of the steel pipe (100). In addition, when we first attempt to weld the perpendicularity reinforcing bar, after first establishing a level main bar, we also have the problem that the level main bar established on the around of the steel pipe (100) is an obstacle in the erecting work of the perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400).

The old method has welded with raising up a circular plate (6) above it, after welding the cogged joint (5) within the upper part, as in diagram three.

After fixing the circular ring as multiple layers by welding on the upper direction of cogged joint (5) on the interior upper part of the steel pipe (100), we inserted perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) into it. Then, we inserted footing foundation's concrete (500) into the interior upper part of steel pipe (100) that was inserted into the perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400).

After the footing foundation's concrete (500) is supported by a circular plate (6) with welding within the upper part of the steel pipe (100), we made it supported the strength of curing from a circular ring of multiple layers within the around side.

But the former second example such as the above-mentioned also has the following problems. That is, it has a weakness that reduce its desired workrate. Because of the cogged joint (5), circular plate (6) and circular ring (7) to insert footing foundation's concrete (500) within the upper part of the steel pipe (100) are fixed by welding.

When we first erect perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) on the upper part of steel pipe (100), we have a problem that makes work more difficult because the perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400), if set in vertically, hinders the level main bar on the around of steel pipe.

Even when we first attempt to erect the level main bar (400), and then to weld perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400), we also have a problem that the level main bar (3) established on the around of steel pipe (100) becomes a hindrance at the installation of the perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400).

The aim of this invention is not only to safely reinforce the upper portion of the steel pipe driven into the ground, but also to provide its foundation work, which simply connects perpendicularity reinforcing bar to it.

[This invention's composition] If we will explain a good practised example of this invention by the attached drawing, it is as follows.

For the reference, the same parts as the former examples will be explained by using the same reference number as the former number in the drawing of the following.

Diagram 4, as a practised example of the invention, is a analysed slanted drawing of its foundation work. Diagram 5 is a combined section of the upper part's reinforcement structure of steel pipe used at the foundation work. Diagram 6 is a used condition drawing of the upper part's reinforcing structure of steel pipe used at the foundation work.

Diagram 4 and 6 shows the reinforcement member of steel pipe on the upper part of steel pipe in order to fill the interior upper part with footing foundation's concrete (500).

The above-mentioned reinforcement member of steel pipe must have the circular plate (30) and circular ring (20) formed by lots of perpendicular steel insertion holes, and the tiebar (10) can be united with a circular ring (20) and a circular plate (30) in its center.

We post the circular ring (30) and circular plate (30) on a vertical line and their hanging can be made at the upper part of steel pipe (100) so that the diameter of the circular ring (20) is larger than that of the circular plate (30).

The circular plate (30) is to be inserted into the interior upper part of steel pipe, and it can maintain a close relationship with the inner side.

We should insert perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) into the circular plate (30) through numerous perpendicular steel insertion holes in the circular ring (20), but it must touch the upside of circular plate (30) or the spacer.

After filling ready mixed concrete between the circular ring (30) and the circular plate (30) and it are cured, the perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) unites the steel pipe with footing foundation's concrete (500) to reinforce its upper portion (100).

The drawing cipher code two that has not yet been explained for the rest is the ground and cipher code four is the base rock.

If we try to explain the function of the practised example of this invention that we have mentioned on this paper in reference to the diagrams four or six, it is as follows.

As displayed in diagram six, the steel pipes (100) are driven into the ground (2). Afterward, we insert circular rings (20) and circular plates (30) united with numerous tiebars that were set vertically as the reinforcing member of steel pipe within the upper part of the steel pipe. Then circular plates (30) vertically placed in a straight line and tiebars can keep close touch with the inner side of steel pipe when they could be inserted into its inner upper part.

Also the circular ring (20) has a catching movement on its upper part (100) due to its diameter being designed larger than the circular plate's.

Finally we finished to tie the level main bar (3) of footing foundation's concrete (500) on the upper part of the steel pipe in a length and breadth direction.

There are numerous perpendicular steel insertion holes (40) on the surface of the circular ring (20). If we insert the perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) into its insertion hole (40) by using the opening of the level main bar (3), the ending point of one side can support the touching condition with the surface of the circular plate (30) and its founding can easily be achieved without welding.

If we pour footing foundation's concrete (500) on the ground established level main bar (3) and perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) on the top direction of the steel pipe (100), the footing foundation's concrete (500) will cover them and it will be simultaneously flowed into its upper part (100).

When the tiebar (10) and the circular plate (30) of steel pipe-reinforcing member established within its upper part (100) will be inserted into its inner, they become to keep close touch with its inner side (100) and allow for space.

According to the close touch of the tiebar (10), the plate (30) and the steel pipe (100), the footing foundation's concrete (500) is poured into the formed space.

At this point, the footing foundation's concrete (500) is not only to have a high density but also to prevent the separation of circular plate (30) by perpendicularity reinforcing bar (400) vertically erected between circular ring and circular plate (30), and the horizontally holed and connected bolt (1). l Effect of invention The above-mentioned explanation of this invention provides us with the following effects. That is, it enables us to safely reinforce the upper part of the steel pipe driven into the ground and also easily install perpendicularity reinforcing bar without having to weld along the upper part.

It is not only limited to the desirable and practice o example of the above-explained. Without diverging summery of invention within the claim scope, whoever has general knowledge of this technical field could apply it into the others.
