Abstract:
The present invention can improve safety of occupants by suppressing deformation of a vehicle seat when force is applied in the front direction of a vehicle body. A deformation suppression unit (7) is provided to a site (OH) where a seat frame 1 protrudes and overhangs from an installation member (20) to the outer side in the vehicle body width direction. The deformation suppression unit (7) includes: a pair of first brackets (10) disposed on the front end side and the rear end side of a cushion frame (2) with a gap therebetween and fixed to the cushion frame (2); fixation units (11) attached to the installation member (20) and fixed to the pair of first brackets (10); and at least one connection unit (13, 12) bridged between the pair of first brackets (10) and fixed thereto. The at least one connection unit (13, 12) includes a connection unit (13) disposed on the outer side of a seat cushion than the fixation unit (11) is.
