Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a reinforcing cord (2) wherein a coating layer
is provided on the surface of a reinforcing fiber bundle (21) which comprises
a plurality of reinforcing fibers. This method comprises a step for forming
a coating layer on the surface of the reinforcing fiber bundle (21) by extrusion
molding by using a material containing at least one elastomer selected from polyester
thermoplastic elastomers and fluororesin thermoplastic elastomers. Also
disclosed is a reinforcing cord (2) produced by this method.
