Abstract:
A bicycle tire 100 which is at least equipped with a tread section 12 positioned on the ground-contacting surface of the bicycle tire 100, and a carcass section 16 positioned on the inside of the tread section 12, wherein a reinforcing member 14 is provided in at least one location selected from the area between the tread section 12 and the carcass section 16, the interior of the carcass section 16, and the interior of the tread section 12. The reinforcing member 14 is configurated from at least woven polyvinyl alcohol fiber strands, the fiber strands are configured from a plurality of single fibers, and the average fiber diameter of the single fibers is no more than 45μm.
