Abstract:
The relative phases of two signals to be measured with a predetermined frequency spacing therebetween are detected using two reference signals. A relative phase detector (1) is provided with a reference signal generation unit (11) for generating two reference signals with the same frequency spacing as the frequency spacing between the two signals to be measured, a beat signal processing unit (12) for generating two beat signals from the two signals to be measured and the two reference signals and generating a multiplication signal of the two beat signals, and a detection unit (13) for detecting the relative phases of the two signals to be measured by removing a constant defined by a detection system from a direct-current component of the multiplication signal.
