Abstract:
A relay node (203), which is one of a plurality of relay nodes that are connected to one another by links to constitute a communication network with a plurality of paths formed for transmitting communication data via the relay node (203), comprises: a link status receiving unit (104) that receives, from one or more relay nodes downstream from the relay node (203), link status notifying messages that are cumulatively forwarded in accordance with the degrees of tolerance for the link disconnection at the downstream relay nodes; a probability generating unit (106) that generates a probability value in accordance with a predetermined probability distribution; a path selecting unit (107) that selects one of the plurality of paths on the basis of the number of the link status notifying messages and the probability value; and a relay processing unit (108) that relays the communication data, which are received from the upstream, to the downstream relay nodes along the path selected by the path selecting unit (107).
