Abstract:
A relay conveyance device (400) comprises: a first conveyance path which is formed to connect a conveyance intake port and a conveyance discharge port, and which comprises a plurality of segments (S2a, S2b); a plurality of first conveyance means (63) which are positioned along the first conveyance path and which are for conveying the print paper which is taken in from the conveyance intake port along the first conveyance path to the conveyance discharge port; a plurality of drive means (64) which correspond to each of the respective segments, and which are for driving the first conveyance means within the corresponding segments; and a drive transmission means (65) for driving the plurality of first conveyance means on the basis of the output of a prescribed one drive means (64a) among the plurality of drive means when only the prescribed one drive means is movable, and for driving each of the plurality of first conveyance means on the basis of the output of each of the corresponding drive means when the plurality of drive means is movable.
