Abstract:
A relay device has: a heating medium heat exchanger; a casing into which the heating medium heat exchanger is incorporated; a first refrigerant piping connection port connected to one from among refrigerant piping through which refrigerant flows from a heat-source-side unit to the heating medium heat exchanger and refrigerant piping through which refrigerant flows from the heating medium heat exchanger to the heat-source-side unit, and a second refrigerant piping connection port connected to the other of the two; and a first heating medium piping connection port connected to one from among heating medium piping through which a heating medium flows from a load-side unit to the heating medium heat exchanger and heating medium piping through which the heating medium flows from the heating medium heat exchanger to the load-side unit, and a second heating medium piping connection port connected to the other of the two. The first refrigerant piping connection port, the second refrigerant piping connection port, the first heating medium piping connection port, and the second heating medium piping connection port are provided in the upper surface of the casing and face a direction opposite the direction of gravity.
