Abstract:
The relay device is provided with: multiple input/output ports (111); an authentication information storage unit (114) for storing authentication information for authenticating a given relay device to be authenticated; an authentication processing unit (113) which acquires a given authentication packet for authenticating the given relay device via a given input/output port (111) connected to the given relay device and authenticates the given relay device while referring to the authentication information; and a relay processing unit (112) for causing a transfer packet acquired via the given input/output port to be output from a transfer input/output port (111) to which the transfer destination of the transfer packet is connected when the authentication of the given relay device is successful and discarding the transfer packet when the authentication of the given relay device fails.
