Abstract:
Disclosed are a relay device, a relay method, a communications system, a relay control program, and a recoding medium. A proxy (200) comprises: a processing unit (220) that determines whether or not data including an SD image or an HD image is cached when a request for a response including an SD image or an HD image is received from a client (100-1); and a transmission unit (260) that sends the response to the client (100-1). If the processing unit (220) determines that said data is cached, the processing unit (220) uses the cache to generate the response to be sent.
