Abstract:
The present invention accurately performs beamforming in wireless communication (uplink) from a relay device to a donor base station. Thus, a relay device 20 for relaying communication between a terminal device 10 and a donor base station 30, the relay device 20 being equipped with an amplitude/phase measurement unit 25 for measuring the amplitude and phase of the wireless communication from the donor base station 30 to the relay device 20, and a beam adjustment unit 27 for performing beamforming for the donor base station 30 by measuring the amplitude and the phase using the amplitude/phase measurement unit 25 and adjusting the amplitude and phase from the multiple antennas used by the relay device 20, wherein wireless access is stopped upon detecting that the terminal device is not in-area during a time period when the terminal device 10 is not in-area for the relay device 20, the amplitude/phase measurement unit 25 measures the amplitude and phase, the beam adjustment unit 27 performs beamforming for the donor base station 30, and thereafter, the wireless access is restarted.
