Abstract:
An operation terminal is connected via a communication cable to a relay device as a target of operation setting. The operation terminal is caused to broadcast-transmit an address solution request for an arbitrary IP address. On the other hand, the relay device is caused to store the object address of the address solution request as a communication address of the relay device and return a MAC address of the relay device to the operation terminal. The operation terminal is caused to establish a communication session with the relay device by using the MAC address thus returned and perform operation setting by telnet.
