Abstract:
Provided is a relay device that is connected, so as to be able to communicate, to an on-board control device that controls an open-close device mounted to a vehicle, said relay device comprising a control unit that controls communication with the onboard control device. The control device acquires, via a key authentication device mounted in the vehicle, data transmitted from a delivery information terminal of a courier who is to make a delivery into the vehicle by way of opening the open-close device and, on the basis of information related to the package key contained in the data that was acquired, outputs, to the onboard control device, an open request signal to request that the open-close device be opened.
