Abstract:
An in-vehicle relay device that relays Ethernet frames, comprising a plurality of PHY parts respectively corresponding to a plurality of in-vehicle devices, a switch part to which the plurality of PHY parts are connected, and a control unit that monitors the operation states of the plurality of PHY parts, wherein: the plurality of PHY parts includes a specified PHY part that switches operation state between a sleep state and a working state in accordance with reception of a specified control signal differing from the Ethernet frames; and the control unit executes switching control for switching the specified PHY part to the working state if one of the Ethernet frames that should be transmitted from the specified PHY part is detected while the specified PHY part is in the sleep state.
