Abstract:
Disclosed is a relay device (100), in a communications system that communicates wirelessly, which increases the reachability of a frame that issues activation instructions to activate a communications device, and reliably achieves remote activation. The relay device (100) comprises an activation signal generation unit (109) that generates an activation signal that activates a first communications device that is one communications device that connects to a network that the relay device administrates, when a frame is received that is transmitted to the first communications device and the first communications device is not running; and a notification signal generation unit (108) that generates a notification signal that sets a given non-communications interval wherein communications are not made to a communications device connected to the network. The relay device (100) sets the non-communications interval according to the notification signal, and transmits the activation signal in the state of the non-communications interval being set.
